Interior spy images of the updated BYD Atto 3 have emerged from China, offering an early look at a revamped cabin just weeks ahead of its anticipated debut at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show.
The most noticeable change inside is the shift away from the current model’s more expressive design toward a more structured layout, in line with newer BYD Dynasty series models.
The revised dashboard and centre console adopt a more horizontal layout, extending across the cabin to enhance the sense of width while reducing visual fragmentation for a more mature, cohesive look.
The updated Atto 3 is expected to be offered with two battery packs—57.545 kWh and 68.547 kWh—delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 540 km and 630 km respectively.

It is also set to feature BYD’s second-generation Blade battery, paired with what the company describes as flash-charging capability. The model will transition to a rear-wheel-drive setup, with a rear-mounted motor offered in 200 kW and 240 kW outputs.
Reported figures suggest the battery can charge from 10% to 70% in roughly five minutes, reaching as high as 97% in about nine minutes under ideal conditions. Even in extreme cold, down to -30°C, the charging window only extends by a few minutes, indicating improvements in thermal management.
The vehicle’s dimensions have also increased, now measuring 4665 mm in length with a 2770 mm wheelbase. Exterior updates are expected to complement the interior changes, including a revised front-end design, slimmer headlamp units, and a full-width rear light signature integrated into a decorative panel.
An official reveal is likely around May, with a public showcase expected at the Beijing Auto Show.
